Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Fairtrade Lifestyle, we’re committed to making delivery fair, straightforward, and affordable. Below is everything you need to know about shipping your order with us.

Delivery Charges

You only pay one delivery charge per order, based on the total weight of your items. All prices include VAT.

Mainland UK:

• Up to 2.5kg – £5.50

• 2.6kg to 16kg – £8.50

• 16.1kg and over – £13.90

• Pallet Delivery – £45.00

• Warehouse Collection – Free

Outlying Postcodes* (e.g. Highlands, remote areas):

• From £14.40 to £35.50 depending on weight.

• Pallet deliveries: Quote required

Offshore Postcodes** (e.g. Northern Ireland, Channel Islands):

• From £22.00 to £43.50 depending on weight.

• Pallet deliveries: Quote required

Delivery Timeframes

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days. Your delivery timeframe depends on the method:

• Standard Delivery: 3–4 working days after dispatch

• Delivery Plus: 7–10 working days (scheduled with you)

• Pallet Delivery: 4–5 working days (scheduled call before dispatch)

Home Delivery or Collection

You can collect your order free of charge from one of our Cheshire warehouses. Simply select “Warehouse Collection” at checkout and we’ll notify you when your order is ready (usually within 2 working days).

Do I Need to Sign?

Yes, all deliveries require a signature and are made Monday–Friday, during working hours.

If you won’t be home, please provide an alternative delivery address (e.g. neighbour or workplace). Once your order has shipped, rerouting may incur additional charges.

Will It Fit?

Please ensure your items will fit through your doors, hallways, and stairs. We are unable to refund delivery costs if an item cannot be delivered due to access restrictions.

Failed Delivery or Return Charges

If no one is available to accept delivery, the following charges apply:

• Missed Delivery (Delivery Plus or Pallet): £25 minimum

• Return Delivery: £42 minimum

• Courier Redelivery: 50% of original delivery cost

• Courier Return to Warehouse: Equal to original delivery cost

Returns Policy 

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all products. Items must be returned in saleable condition with original packaging. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless we are at fault.
