Our wooden ducks are made from bamboo root. They are hand crafted by skilled artisans in Bali, Indonesia. Each carving is unique which adds to their charm.

Most bamboo species are native to tropical climates, however it can also be found in cool mountainous regions. It is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, leading to its sustainability credentials. The bamboo stems are the part of the plant most commonly used and bamboo has a woody root which is soft, light and easy to carve and has a wonderful texture.
